Lavender Valley Farm is a small (50 acres) privately owned family farm situated in the picturesque Chapman Valley. There are approximately five acres of Intermedia lavender under production for essential oil with the remaining land for livestock.
Native animals, galahs, cockatoos and the very occasional echidna are frequent visitors to a central uncleared hill on the property.
Initial plantings started in 2006 and 2008 brought about the development of natural products utilising Lavender Essential Oil in association with leading Perth aromoatherapist Joanne Lang.
In 2009 the rammed earth building was complete. This beautiful building overlooking the Moresby Ranges out to the west, has been both a seasonal cafe to the public and beautiful backdrop for weddings. From 2019, it is purely for private functions and weddings.
Our peak flowering season is after the first winter rains (approx. end May to end September).
Our big red shed houses our natural product making facility and now a Rum Distillery which is privately operated.
